I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist living in Oakland, CA. I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral studies.
I identify as queer, nonbinary trans, white, and neurodivergent, and I am also a parent. Originally from the East Coast, I lived in a variety of different cities and states before settling in Oakland.
I spent 12 years in a career as a barber where I had the privilege of helping primarily LGBTQ+ folks find confidence in themselves and their identities. During this time, I came to deeply appreciate the powerful role that genuine connection and vulnerability can play in fostering personal growth and healing. I believe that within the safety of a trusted relationship meaningful transformations can occur, and I am passionate about supporting other queer and gender-nonconforming individuals and partners as they embark on their journeys of self-discovery and inner exploration.
In my therapeutic practice I draw upon a variety of modalities including relational therapy, client centered therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic theory, and attachment theory. I offer exclusively virtual services, which enables me to work with clients who are located anywhere in California.
